2km (1.5 miles) of riverside walk on the River Medway for the new residents of this major residential development at Chatham Dockyard, for SEEDA. Designed to reflect the local character of the river and use the local Kentish ragstone also used in the Tudor Upnor Castle across the river. The walk connects the residential areas to the river and its history. The habitat of the rare golden samphire is enhanced in the design.
